This world famous restaurant is located in downtown Kenosha. It is in an old train car. There isn't much room but it is an awesome place. The Food network has been there and showed what Frank's Diner is all about.
I had to see how good this place really was. I ordered the all famous garbage plate. This has a bunch of veggies, 5 eggs, hashbrowns, a whole mess of cheese, and your choice of three meats. The meats are ham, sausage and bacon. I ordered the garbage plate with the sausage and bacon.
Instead of going with the wheat toast. I went with their homemade toast. It was amazing. Something sent from god. I believe it was sourdough. Do not quote me though.
I also got the biscuits and gravy. Actually, some of the gravy ended up on my garbgage plate. It was excellent. On Point!@##@$#@!

ReplyDeleteI went there a few weeks ago and also ordered the garbage plate just because that's all the rave there. Their portions are HUGE, great for taking leftovers home but I felt like they put too many spices into the dish. It almost all tastes the same, the hashbrowns, eggs, and meat. But other than that it was pretty good.
