This restaurant is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The first item that I ever ate from this place was the pizza. On my overnight visit to Carthage College is where I first tasted the pizza. It is thin crust and definitely one of the better pizzas that I have eaten while spending my 4 years here.
At Pick'n Save (grocery store in Wisconsin) they give you coupons on the back of the receipts and there is one for haircuts, Derangos(last restaurant posted), and Casa Capri. The coupon was buy one dinner get one dinner free. In fine print it says up to $10. Oh well.
I went and ordered off the specials for the week and it was called lobster and shrimp tomatofredo it was half tomato sauce and half alfredo. It was a very good pasta and the lobster pieces were in there but just not as many as I would have liked.
The other order was a chicken parmesan. It was good but not as good as the Villa de Carlo chicken. Although it wasn't as good, there was more chicken at Casa Capri.
The service was absolutely amazing. We got there before they were open, but they still seated us and our waitress took very good care of us. The service was On Point.
Delicious, and i didn't know there were coupons for casa capri in the back of those reciepts...i'll have to look next time and eat more for cheap.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize there were coupons on the back of the receipts either, good to know Shreds. But I happened to have a very different experience at Casa Capri. I ordered out from there on a Wednesday night at about 7pm, went and picked up my food, I got calamari, gnocchi pasta with red sauce and meatballs and my friend got alfredo pasta. The calamari was good but thats really hard to get wrong when its fried. Then I had my pasta which was very bland. There wasn't any seasoning in any of the pasta or sauce so it was disappointing. My friend's alfredo pasta was way too cheesy. It was super thick and it stuck to her mouth when she chewed it. Even though my experience was bad, I'm willing to try it out again because of your experience. It's good to know that someone enjoyed it so much.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, have heard alot about this place, but have not actually been there, i guess i should consider it soon! Do they also do catering??
